More Plants. Better Flow. Zero Wasted Space.
Every square foot in your facility matters. Rolling benches allow cannabis growers to reclaim wasted aisle space and convert it into productive canopy, without sacrificing accessibility.
Instead of permanent walkways, mobile bench systems create aisles only where and when you need them. This dynamic layout improves workflow, reduces labor inefficiencies, and allows your team to move through the space with purpose.
Whether you’re retrofitting an existing grow or designing a new facility, rolling benches provide the flexibility to adapt as your operation evolves.
Rolling bench systems are a foundational component of efficient cannabis cultivation, allowing growers to maximize canopy space while maintaining accessibility and control.
Space Optimization
Reduce fixed aisle space and increase canopy. Make every square foot count.
Operational Efficiency
Create access exactly where needed. Streamline daily workflows for your team.
Clean & Controlled Environment
Elevated systems improve airflow and sanitation. Support consistent growing conditions.
Built to Scale
Flexible layouts that grow with your operation. Ideal for both expansion and retrofit projects.
Designed for commercial grow environments, rolling benches improve space utilization while supporting consistent plant health and workflow efficiency. These systems are widely used in indoor cannabis cultivation to create scalable, high-performance grow operations.
A System That Works the Way You Do
Rolling benches aren’t just about adding more plants, they’re about creating a smarter, more efficient cultivation environment.
By allowing benches to move laterally, growers can eliminate unnecessary steps, reduce congestion, and improve access to every plant. This leads to more consistent maintenance, better plant health, and a more productive team.
Each system is designed with your facility in mind, ensuring the right balance between density, compliance, and ease of movement
When integrated with lighting, irrigation, and environmental controls, rolling bench systems help create a fully optimized cultivation environment that supports consistent growth across your entire canopy.
What This Means for Your Grow:
- Higher yield potential without expanding your footprint
- Faster, more efficient daily operations
- Better access for pruning, harvesting, and maintenance
- A cleaner, more organized grow environment
- Improve yield per square foot by maximizing usable canopy space

Choosing the right rolling bench system depends on your facility design, workflow, and production goals.

Standard Ebb Benches Vs Max Roll Benches
Standard rolling benches are priced the same as stationary benches of the same size. Max Roll benches are designed for installation on concrete floors, as certain legs must be anchored to prevent tipping. Standard rolling benches do not require floor anchoring.
Complete Max Roll Benches
- Bench structure made from galvanized 1” steel tubing
- Leveling header constructed of 1¼” galvanized tubing, with up to 2” of leveling adjustment
- Anti-tip bracket fabricated from welded galvanized steel tubing
- Metal brackets for securing benches to concrete floors
- Extruded aluminum side rails with rounded bench corners
- Molded polystyrene Ebb and Flow tray inserts
- Bench connector barbed on one end for connection to ¾” hose
- All required glue and fasteners included for assembly
- All components are pre-drilled, pre-punched, pre-cut, and ready for assembly
Rolling bench systems are often used as an alternative to vertical grow racks when facilities prioritize accessibility, simplicity, and lower upfront investment.
Rolling bench systems are available in a range of sizes and configurations to support different cultivation layouts and production goals.
Ebb & Flow Rolling Bench Specifications
Here’s a polished version that keeps it clear and professional while tightening the language:
All of our benches are made to order for each customer. Ebb & Flow rolling benches are available in a wide range of widths. We currently stock 1’, 2’, 3’, 4’, 4.5’, 5’, 5.5’, and 6’ wide trays at our manufacturing facility, with additional widths available by special order.
Bench lengths are fully customizable, with a typical minimum length of 7½ feet. Lead times vary based on our production schedule, but stocked widths generally ship within 6–8 weeks. Special-order widths may require additional time.
Please refer to the chart for rolling distances.
| Bench Size | Standard Roll | Max Roll |
| 3′ | not available | 5.75′ |
| 4′ | 7.5′ | 9.75′ |
| 4.5′ | 8.75′ | 11.75′ |
| 5′ | 9.75′ | 13.25′ |
| 5.5′ | 10.5′ | 15′ |
| 6′ | 11.5′ | 15.5′ |
| 6.5′ | 10.75′ | 16.5′ |
Ebb & Flow Trays
In addition to our signature Ebb and Flow rolling benches, we also offer Ebb and Flow trays as standalone products. These trays can be used to replace existing trays in Ebb and Flow systems or to upgrade traditional benches into modern sub-irrigation setups.

If you’re considering converting your current benches into Ebb and Flow systems, here are a few key factors to keep in mind:
- The bench or supporting framework must fully support the Ebb and Flow trays, either continuously or with sturdy crossbars spaced no more than 50 cm (19½”) on center.
- The existing bench structure must be strong and stable enough to support the benchtop, plants, and the additional water load during irrigation (approximately 4 lbs per square foot).
- The bench must be capable of being leveled. Ebb and Flow trays require a completely level surface to function properly. Ideally, the benchtop can be adjusted at multiple points, typically at each leg.
- Access to the plumbing well at the end of the tray is required to connect the irrigation plumbing beneath the benchtop.
Ebb and flow rolling benches are commonly used in cannabis cultivation due to their ability to support consistent irrigation, improve drainage, and maintain uniform growing conditions.
Expanded Metal Benches
We offer a line of expanded metal benches built with the same high-quality materials as our signature Ebb & Flow benches. These benches are nearly identical in design, with expanded metal tops used in place of Ebb & Flow trays.
Many customers choose to incorporate expanded metal benches, especially in retail areas. They feature the same legs, framework, extruded aluminum side rails, and rounded corners as our Ebb & Flow benches, creating a consistent and cohesive look when both styles are used together.
The aluminum side rails extend approximately three inches above the expanded metal surface, helping prevent plants from being accidentally knocked off. Both the side rails and expanded metal tops are hot-dip galvanized after forming, resulting in a durable finish that maintains a clean, like-new appearance for years.
Expanded metal bench systems are often selected for facilities that require durability, airflow, and simplified cleaning within high-volume grow environments.
